Michigan Microbrewery Catapults into Toledo With Distribution From Treu House of Munch
Frankenmuth Brewery on June 6, 2012 in Brewery No Comments »With the continued growth of our Michigan microbrewery, Frankenmuth Brewery has worked tirelessly to push our beer into markets that have never experienced a Michigan beer before. While it only lies 160 miles away from our brewery, the citizens of Toledo, Ohio, thanks to the help of distributors Treu House of Munch, will now be able to purchase Frankenmuth Brewery beer without making a trip.
Treu House of Munch is a beer distributor that was founded in 1875 by Joseph Munch and his family. The Toledo-based company, which employs nearly 100 employees, has been supplying brands like Budweiser, Michelob, Stella Artois, Hoegarden and bigger craft brewers like Goose Island to grocery stores, beer stores and other adult beverage friendly sellers in the northern Ohio area. Adding Frankenmuth Brewery to their illustrious roster of brews, Treu House of Munch will distribute our Frankenmuth Pilsener, Hefeweizen Ale, and Batch 69 American-Style IPA and we couldn’t be happier.
While there is more good news on the way (Ohioans can look forward to being able to purchase our beer all over the state soon), some of the Frankenmuth staff took the short ride down to Toledo and rolled out our Michigan microbrewery beer with a visit to the Treu House of Munch facility. Over a few Frankenmuth Brewery beers, we enjoyed meeting the Esser family, the rest of their team and we look forward to our working relationship with them.
Check out the photos from our visit below and, for our friends in the great state of Ohio, prepare yourself for beer from your soon-to-be favorite Michigan microbrewery! Thanks again to our new distribution partner Treu House of Munch. We raise a glass to you and say “Prost!” (or, “Cheers!” in German).
