One nice thing about Michigan winters: the Michigan Winter Beer Festival!

Tickets for the Michigan Brewers Guild’s seventh annual officially went on sale December 1, and if the size and success of the Detroit Fall Beer Festival was any indication, this is one event Michigan beer enthusiasts won’t want to miss.

Along with Frankenmuth Brewery, the Brewers Guild expects more than 50 other Michigan breweries peddling over 300 different beers!

Brewmaster Jeff Coon is already considering which seasonals Frankenmuth will have on hand at the event, though the Winter Bock Lager and Baltic Style Porter Lager will almost certainly be in attendance. If you love Michigan beer, shouldn’t you be too?

‘Tis the season for the beer in Detroit!

On Saturday, October 22, the 3rd Annual Detroit Fall Beer Festival will be taking place in Eastern Market, a bustling outdoor bazaar that’s been operating in Detroit since 1891. Presented by the Michigan Brewers Guild and Metro Times, this year’s Detroit Beer Festival boasts over 250 beers brewed locally by more than 45 Michigan microbreweries and brewpubs.

Naturally, as one of Michigan’s finest craft breweries, Frankenmuth will be on hand with a variety of beers. Among them will be our popular Pilsener and, for one of the last times this season, our Oktoberfest brew.

If the promise of countless craft beers isn’t enough, the Detroit Beer Festival will also showcase a number of local eateries and live music for your entertainment.

For tickets and more information, visit the Michigan Brewers Guild online. This event is expected to sellout so advance tickets are encouraged.

And of course, stop by the Frankenmuth Brewery website for a complete list of beers and more!
